How do you move like news?
News is all about headlines and delivering information in efficient and engaging ways. The concept of the titles, seen daily by 1.2m or 12% of the population, is to visually depict SVT’s brand promise of objectivity and impartiality through a juxtaposition of two different perspectives of the same situation. One from above—the other “on the ground”.
The sideways movement stays true one of the core principal movements of SVT identified in the mother brand project—Browse, Swipe and Zoom. Applicable on any screen, in a distinguished movement.
Stripwipe™A modern solution inspired by traditional media.
StripWipe™ is the bespoke concept designed to show content in a unique and relevant way. The different headlines/images are overlaid on top of each other, hinting at what’s below/next to come. Just like in an old phone book or calendar.
A quick overview of the most important content, to keep the user engaged and informed. The studio design lent itself exceptionally well to the sideways/swipe movement. Merging the latest technology with a reference to traditional media, like turning the page of a news paper.
